Contest rules and guidelines
- Participants must be 18 or older and work professionally as hairdressers or hairstylists.
- Participants must be residents of India and possess a valid passport.
- Freshers and students are eligible to participate exclusively in the Academy Star category.
- Only original work will be accepted. Submissions must be the participant’s own creation.
- Entries will be counted only if submitted on this website.
- All participants’ entries will be subject to the official contest terms and conditions.
- Uploading the same image in all five image placeholders will result in disqualification.

Yes, you’re allowed to enter more than one category. Each entry must be a different image/look on a different model with a clear difference.
Yes, you can submit multiple entries per category.
No, for all categories the competition is open to all qualified hairdressers working in India, including self-employed or freelance hairdressers.
Yes. For all TrendVision categories, you, your assistant, and your model must be above 18 years of age at all stages of the competition.
The entry photos do not need to be professionally shot, or need to be taken specifically for the competition, and can be previously published. However, the photo cannot have been previously submitted to TrendVision or other industry competitions. The photo should be no older than 12 months. Overuse of Photoshop will result in disqualification. It can be used minimally to even out skin tone, tidy up clothing, or remove flyaways. Competitors may not use Photoshop for creating, enhancing, or manipulating the hair.
Yes, the model can be changed at any time during the competition. Competitors must ensure to get consent from the model whose photograph they are using to enter the TrendVision India Awards 2024-2025, so their images can be used in the competition.
